One of the most popular and high-paying jobs today is in the field of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). A lot of companies particularly Call Centers all over the country are in search of competent and efficient people to bring out the best in their company. Anyone can have a career as a customer service representative. You just need the right knowledge and expertise to be qualified for the job.
That is why TESDA in cooperation with the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) is offering a Call Center Scholarship Program. As the training provider certified by TESDA and BPAP, ICI will be utilizing its facilities with competent instructors to help provide quality trainings for deserving scholars. The institution aims to produce as many as 4500 workers that are capable of performing customer service tasks here and around the Philippines especially in Cebu City where there are lot of career opportunities.
Headed by ICI’s Marketing Officer, Mr. Jerrum Suaring with the expertise of Mrs. Iris Aque and husband Mr. Aldous Aque as trainers, they roam around different areas of Iligan City and visit secondary schools to promote the said program and search for qualified applicants. The applicants will go through series of exams and interviews to determine who has what it takes to work in the BPO industry. A great thing about this, is that ICI also offers a 100% employment assistance so qualified candidates won’t find it hard to look for a job after they finish the program.
The campaign began since October 1, 2011 and the institution plans to continue this for the whole month of October. Applicants for interview may visit ICI Main Guidance Office located at Diocesan Centrum Building, Lluch Street, Iligan City or call 223-0204.
